Sundowner Trailer Center Team Graduates Sundowner Service School

COLEMAN, Oklahoma — Mike Davidson, Richard Horton, Wayne Haller and Doug Snyder of Sundowner Trailer Centers, located in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, completed Sundowner Trailers' intensive three-day Service School held at Sundowner's manufacturing facility in Coleman, Oklahoma.

The extensive service training program is designed to assist Sundowner dealers in providing the maximum level of service possible in the maintenace of Sundowner trailers. The reason for the sundowner Service School is simple, says Scott Riley, Sundowner's Educational Director. "Sundowner has the best quality trailer on the market — with an unrivaled warranty program," he said. "We wanted to match that with the highest quality possible in follow-up service. Sundowner trailers have long life and retain their value. Even after years of use, owners can count on our Sundowner Service Centers to address their needs."

Service training includes the maintenance of axles, brakes and bearings, the installation and maintenance of equalizer systems, as well as acid wash cleaning, application of graphics. Also covered is the re-skinning of doors, noses, etc., the testing and replacement of wiring, and water seal maintenance on windows, roofs and doors. Welding repairs training is also included.

The final day of training covers service on Sundowner's Living Quarters trailers. This includes maintenance and repair on refrigerators, microwave ovens, and other applicances as well as on furnaces, air conditioning systems, water heaters, electrical distribution systems, electronics and awnings.

Training also covers the pre-delivery check, the detailing of customer responsibility, ordering of parts, handling warranty claims, and applying after-market modifications. Participants must pass a final exam for certification.
